« We had a lovely relaxing stay. Staff were friendly. The site was well managed and the facilities are good. The lake was superb for paddle boarding, which we enjoyed every day. I do think that the entertainment being separate from the bar probably means people were less likely to buy drinks from the bar and stay longer. The two were were separate and this seemed strange. »

« We had a great stay at Yelloh! and they have fast become our favourite campsite chain. Compared to some other Yelloh campsites, I think there could be improvements in the shop and entertainment set-up. The people were fabulous but it would be better if the entertainment was more integrated into the bar area rather than the stage, and the shop offered a few more items to avoid having to go out. »

« This campsite has a lovely pool and a beautiful lake so close to the pitches. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the service excellent! The waitresses were so friendly and so helpful - we could not fault them! My only criticism is that we had a dog with us and it was incredibly hot but dogs are not allowed in the lake to cool off. I understand why but would have given the site full marks if there was an area in the lake that allowed dogs especially in the extreme hot weather. There was a small stream which we could use but was tricky for me to accompany my dog. The cost for 2 nights was quite expensive but the facilities were excellent. »

« A lovely relaxing stay at this site with some friends. We booked a 2nd row lake pitch which was a great size (although not completely flat so we had a limited area to place our tent). The pitch had its own electric and water points which are handy. The pool is small with 2 slides so we ended up spending most of our time by the lake as when the pool was very busy there was not a lot of room. The lake is lovely with plenty of space and the activities are reasonably priced and the instructor was excellent and great fun. All of the staff at the bar, restaurant, reception, and throughout were very welcoming and helpful. Pastries and breads can be bought at the restaurant shop first thing in the morning, although the queue can be long (waiting 20/30mins) so this could be better staffed as they only had one person serving. There is not a lot available locally for food but a short drive into Bergerac there are lots of options. We ate at the campsite restaurant which was lovely and had takeaway pizza a few times. It is on the expensive side but no different to what we have experienced elsewhere. The toilet block was ok but there were only 4 toilets and 4 showers for the campers at our end of the site although they were usually very clean. There are laundry facilities which is helpful but again they can be busy at peak times. The receptionist was always extremely helpful in booking activities for us. I would highly recommend the drive to the 6 castles Dordogne Canoe trip…it was amazing! Worth the extra drive that the trip available only 20 mins away. Entertainment programme in the evenings was ok, but small compared to bigger sites. This suited us as we book this site for entertainment. We didn’t try the mini club but the children joined in the the football. All entertainment was in English, French and Dutch which was great. Overall we enjoyed this site but we were with friends which made it more fun. I’m not sure we would come back here without friends but if you are looking for a chilled site which feels relaxed this is worth a visit. The site is very safe for children and the staff are exceptionally helpful. Better availability of toilets and showers plus better staffing of the bakery would have improved the score but overall we had a lovely enjoyable stay. »

« It was excellent. An absolutely lovely site with brilliant facilities. The swimming lake is a huge benefit at this site especially in the extreme heat of 2026. The pitches are shaded with lovely mature trees and new planting where its needed. »
